Prices may vary plus or minus 20% depending on the hike.

Larger group as 10 people on request. All additional services (meal and lodging of the participants and the mountain leader, transport possible, particular animations) are added to this tariff.

Terms and conditions

Application

Registrations are made trough the online form. By registering, the guest accept the present General Terms and Conditions (GTC).

Eligibility

For all events and courses a good health and an appropriate equipment is required. If these eligibility requirements are not met, the guest will be excluded from the event.

Price

Prices are per person in CHF.

Included in the price :

• Professional leadership

• Accommodation with half board in overnight trekking

Not included in the price :

• arrival and departure, etc., cable cars, taxi

• Between Meals

• drinks in lodges, hotels, restaurants, etc.

• Rental equipment

• All services not mentioned in the offer

Terms of payment

For day events the fee is paid at least at the begining of the hike, in the multi-day events at least 10 days in advance.

Resignation

An administration fee of CHF 60.- will be charged in case of cancellation by the guest. In addition:

3 to 10 days before departure: 30% of the price

0 to 2 days before departure: 60% of the price

Program changes and safety

Our tours are usually held in any weather. As a result of unanticipated events or for safety reasons we reserve the right to make program changes, either before departure or on the road. The mountain leader is responsible for the security during the event. He can reject a guest (not meet the eligibility requirements, inadequate equipment, overwork, inappropriate behavior, etc.). For program changes, or rejection of a guest of the above reasons, no money will be refunded.

Liability and compensation

alpinetrek.ch provides maximum security, but a residual risk will never be completely excluded. The guest must take into account the natural risks of hiking in the mountains, which are always present in spite of careful and prudent guiding. With the reservation, the participants explicitly recognizes this fact and waives any claim for damages or otherwise liable. According to swiss federal law and as required for every licensed mountainleader, I am insured in civil liability for an amount of 10'000'000 ChFrs. with Zurich insurances (frame agreement of the ASAM, insurance n° 15.731.254).

Insurance

It is the individual responsibility of each participant to be insured for illness and accident. It is your responsibility to check that mountain rescue services are covered, and if not, to insure yourself individually for this risk (by rega.ch or air-glacier.ch).

Jurisdiction

In case of dispute Swiss courts only have jurisdiction. The court of jurisdiction is in Sion, canton of Valais. The place of jurisdiction of alpinetrek.ch remains in Switzerland. The French general terms are taken legally, this one is a translation.
